One newer graduation rule to put on the tracker
For students who entered Grade 9 in 2025–26 or later, Ontario’s 2026–27 framework normally adds financial-literacy modules in the compulsory Grade 10 Career Studies course. The published rule allows two attempts, requires at least 70%, counts the highest attempt as 5% of the course mark, and records completion on the transcript. Cohort and equivalency exceptions exist, so families should ask guidance to confirm the student-specific status instead of relying on a generic OSSD checklist.
